This site will be devoted to documenting the experiences of my father, Ret. Maj. Samuel D. Townsend, while he was in Vietnam.
Due to the nature of his assignments, I know very little about what he actually went through while he was in country. I only have photos he took, some limited documentation, and a few keepsakes.
